Chassis

In order to have an off road caravan, you must use the right chassis. We never compromise on the chassis and only use the best chassis for semi off-road and off-road caravans.

Chassis for an off-road caravan

Urban Caravans specify ARV Chassis and Suspension. With no C-Section or Perforated Rails ARV can offer a 5 year warranty which offers our customers the same degree of surety and total confidence as the structure of our caravans.

Why is the
Z Channel so important?

We use a Z CHANNEL on the chassis. This allows for the aluminium frame to sit on the side of the chassis. Therefore the frame is bolted directly to the chassis and not sitting on top of the floor. With a stronger connection and more contact points, this method of joining the frame and the chassis is by far the most effective.
